Smith, Doris Nell 


GILMER -- Services for Doris Nell Smith, 79, of Longview, will be held 2 p.m. 
Saturday, May 13, 2006, at First United Methodist Church of Gilmer, with the 
Reverend Mark Woodward officiating. Burial will follow in Gilmer City Cemetery 
of Gilmer, Texas. Visitation will be 10 a.m. -- noon Saturday, May 13, 2006, 
at Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mrs. Smith died Friday, May 12, 2006, in 
Longview. She was born December 10, 1926, in Commerce, Texas, to Earl E. and 
Veda McKinney Faires. She had been a resident of Longview since 1992, and a 
former teacher at Trinity Episcopal School. Mrs. Smith is survived by daughters 
and sons-in-law, Barbara and Walter Camp of Spring and Sally and Greg Berlocher 
of Sugar Land; brother and sister-in-law, Gene R. and Jeannine Faires of 
Beaumont; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Norris Barnard of Houston; two 
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Walter Camp, 
Greg Berlocher, Jacob Berlocher, Travis Berlocher, and Chris Smith.
