Sorber, John E.   	

GILMER - Graveside services for John E. Sorber, 83, of Gilmer, will be 
at 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007, at Sunset Memorial Park. Arrangements 
are by Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mr. Sorber died May 3, 2007, 
in Longview.

Born October 1, 1923, in Chicago, Ill., he was a U.S. Army veteran, 
having served during the Korean Conflict, and a member of VFW and Our 
Redeemer Lutheran Church. Survivors include his brother, Robert Sorber; 
and sister, Jean Carlston. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, May 
6, 2007, at the funeral home.
