CREMATION

Stewart, Richard Deane

Memorial services for Richard Deane Stewart, 77, of Longview, were Friday, 
February 15, 2008, at Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Richard Jones 
officiating. Cremation arrangements were by East Texas Funeral Home. Mr. 
Stewart died February 14, 2008, at his residence.

Born July 30, 1930, in St. Joseph, Mo., he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, 
retired from NASA and longtime Sunday school teacher. Survivors include 
his son, Mark Stewart; daughter, Diane Vallery; brother, Clarence D. Stewart
Jr.; and sister, Barbara Moore.
