Strickland, Savera

GLADEWATER - Services for Savera Strickland, of Big Sandy, will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Mount Sinia Baptist Church in Big Sandy, with Elder 
Jerry Skinner officiating. Burial will be in Fonda Cemetery. Arrangements are by 
McCauley & Son Funeral Home. Mrs. Strickland died July 16, 2007, in Tyler.

Born June 20, 1932, she attended Winona schools, was employed by U.T. Health 
Center and was a member of Mount Sinia Baptist Church. Survivors include her 
husband, Fred; sons, Larry Rogers, Robert, Fred, Michael, Ray and Lee; daughters, 
Peggy and Judy Parham; and sister, Catherine Wilbon. Visitation will be from 1-8 
p.m. Friday, July 20, 2007, at the church.
