Sims, Mary A.
 	
GILMER - Funeral services for Mary A. Sims, 70, of Jefferson, 
will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at the Lake O' 
the Pines Baptist Church in the Crestwood Community of Lake O' 
the Pines on F.M. Highway 729, with Brother Butch Landers 
officiating. Interment will be in the Ore City Cemetery. 
Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral 
Home in Gilmer.

Mrs. Sims went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2008. She 
was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

She was born November 12, 1937, in Peeltown, to Pete and Naomi 
Williams. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Lake O' 
the Pines Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sims is survived by her husband, Virgil "Sonny" Sims of 
Jefferson; children, Kendall Sims of Jefferson, Kyle Sims of 
Frisco and Keisha Sims of Atlanta; brothers, Johnny Williams 
of Athens, Ricky Williams of Lorena and Betty Williams of 
Cedar Creek; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. this evening, February 12, 
2008, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
