Dorothy Louise Cameron Spears 
(May 9, 1927 - February 26, 2015) 


Services for Dorothy Louise Cameron Spears, 87, will be at First Baptist Church in Gladewater on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Bailey Harris officiating.  Interment will follow at Union Grove Cemetery.  Mrs. Spears passed on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Longview.  The services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.

Dorothy Louise Cameron Spears was born to Arthur LaFayette Cameron and Linnie Maude Shanks Cameron in Fairfield, Texas on May 9, 1927.  She was married to R.G. Spears and was a resident of Gladewater for 65 years. 

Dorothy is survived by her daughters:  Marylin Morris of White Oak and Carolin Scribner of Winston Salem, N.C.; Sons:  Larry Spears and Leslie Spears of Gladewater; sister, Mary Lou Gray of Winston Salem, N. C. and 12 grandchildren as well as 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her son, George Arthur Spears.

Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Risner, Ronald Risner, Larry Morris, Cody Morris, Corey McCurry, and Byron Henson.

Visitation will be at Croley Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.
