SUNSET MEMORIAL PARK - UPSHUR COUNTY


GILMER — Funeral services for Mrs. Edna McGrue Steelman, 88, of Pritchett will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gilmer with Bishop Justin Nessen officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Mrs. Steelman passed away in Gilmer on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. She was born on April 22, 1926, in Gilmer to Rufus and Clara McGrue. She lived all of her life in Upshur County. Edna enjoyed being with her family and friends, traveling, sewing, and doing various church activities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Rodger Steelman.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Tim Mask of Kelsey, Wanda and Jim Elwell of Bettie, Betty and Garry T. Boyd of Union Grove, Judy and Ronnie Wall of Harmony, and Debbie and Randy Davis of East Mountain; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 29, 2014, from 12:30 to 1:30 P,M. in the Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
