Annie Ruth Stegall 
(June 29, 1929 - September 3, 2014) 

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Ruth Stegall, 85, of Clarksville City, will 
be held 2:00 P.M Friday, September 5, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel 
in Gilmer with Bill Voss officiating. Interment will follow at Hoover Cemetery 
in Upshur County. Mrs. Stegall passed away on Wednesday September 3, 2014 in 
Clarksville City.

She was born on June 29, 1929, in Wills Point, Texas to Willie Howell and Doris 
Sudduth Howell. On September 18, 1948, in Upshur County, Texas, she married Billy
Stegall. Mrs. Stegall was a homemaker and a member of Greggton Missionary Baptist 
Church.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Billy Stegall of Clarksville City; 
son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Sharon Stegall of Johnson City; daughters 
and sons-in-law, Sherry and Guy Gauthier of Lake Cherokee, Charlotte and Ken 
Hopper of Jacksonville, Robin and Gregg Owen of Bakersfield, CA., Michelle and 
Dave Cahal of Clarksville City;2 brothers, Frank Howell of Diana and Jerry Howell
of Gilmer; 8 grandchildren, Dustin Harrell, Timothy, Susan and Kris Stegall, Sean 
and Katie Hopper, Lily and Kayce Cahal and 9 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Stegall was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Howard, Charlie, Dan and James 
Howell.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 6:00 until 
8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
