Timmons, Richard Orval 
  	
A memorial service for Richard "Kniche" Timmons will 
be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2007, at the Black Eye 
Pea Cafe in Gladewater. Friends are invited to come and 
reminisce. Mr. Timmons was born February 2, 1942, in 
Longview, to E.B. Timmons and Reathel Shadowen Timmons. 
He passed away January 16, 2007, at a Tyler hospital. Mr. 
Timmons served in the U.S. Army, and was an automobile 
transmission mechanic. He loved motorcycle riding, 
hanging around with buddies, and was a general tinker to 
repair household appliances. Survivors include his 
brothers, James Timmons of Florida, Garland Timmons of 
Burleson, Raymond Timmons of Denton, Tommy Timmons of 
Longview, and Gerald Timmons of East Mountain; sister, 
Patsy Coulter of Diana; stepdaughter, Vanessa; and 
longtime friend and companion, Jean Armstrong. He was 
preceded in death by his brother, Don Timmons, in 1996.
