Wagoner, Julian Thomas

MARSHALL -- Services for Julian Thomas Wagoner, 75, of Diana, will be 
4 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2006, at the chapel of Church Hill Downs in 
Louisville, Ky., with Chaplain Kenneth Boehm officiating and Pat Day 
providing the eulogy. Local arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home in 
Marshall. Mr. Wagoner died October 25, 2006, in Longview. Born October 
2, 1931, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and 
received a Purple Heart, and he was a starter for the Kentucky Derby 
for more than 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Bartlett 
Wagoner; son, Kenneth Lair; and daughter, Shirley Tester. Online
