Bernice Wallace

Services for Bernice Faye Wallace, 86, Gilmer, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 
at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, Gilmer, with James Parrish officiating.

Burial was in Sand Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Wallace died June 25, 2005.

She was born May 21, 1919, in Camp County. She retired as an insurance secretary and clerk. 
She was a member of Indian Rock Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Warren and Mattie Mae Cook; her husband, 
Hershel Marvin Wallace; three brothers and two sisters.  Survivors include brother, Travis 
Cook, Shreveport, La.; and sisters, Eugenia Ballowe, Gilmer, and Lena Copeland, Canton.
Deacons of Indian Rock Baptist Church served as pallbearers.
