Wallace, Jason Scott DIANA - Services for Jason Scott Wallace, U.S.A.F., staff sergeant, 32, of Banbury, Oxon, England, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Smyrna Methodist Church in Diana. Interment will be in Smyrna Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Jason passed away June 25, 2007, at his home. Jason was born August 1, 1974, in New Bern, N.C., to Larry and Vonda Wallace. Jason was a staff sergeant on active duty in the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of Harlingen High School and Colorado Christian University in 2002. He also attended Texas A&M University. Jason was a tried and true Aggie, and he loved sports, music, his family and friends. He was a talented singer and loved to entertain his friends and family with his music, which was such a big part of his life. He loved to travel, explore new places and meet new people, making many friends along the way. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle and friend. Jason will be honored and remembered with love and missed greatly by all who knew him, at home in Texas, across the country and around the world. He is survived by his mother, Vonda Wallace and Dennis Pagel of Harlingen; father, Larry Wallace of Marshall; sisters, Mandi Wallace of San Antonio and Monica McElwee and Buck of Diana; nieces and nephews, Saige and Vinny of San Antonio, and Daniel and Kinsley of Diana; grandparents, Linnie Ponder and Buster of Jefferson, Estelle Wallace of Gladewater and Charles Narramore of Diana; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
