WALLACE, ROLAND L 

April 16, 1930 - R. L. WALLACE OF GLENWOOD, DIED TUESDAY

Mr. Roland L. Wallace, a prominent farmer of the Glenwood 
community died at his home Tuesday evening about 7 o'clock, 
after a brief illmess. He was 86 years of age is survived by 
one son, Mr. R. A. Wallace, of this county, and one daughter, 
Mrs. Carrie Beans of Louisiana. He was a consistent member 
of the Baptist Church and his many friends who will learn of 
his death with deep regret.

His funeral took place Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'cock. Rev. 
Jesse L. Davis, Newsome, conducting the funeral services. A 
large concourse of friends turned out to pay this last sad 
tribute of respect to his memory.
