Westbrook, Birdie Lee DIANA -- Services for Birdie Westbrook, 101, of Diana, will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2006, at Calvary Christian Tabernacle in Longview, with Pastor A.D. Spears, Assistant Pastor Charles Chargois and Richard Westbrook officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Alba. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Mrs. Westbrook passed away Friday, November 24, at a Longview hospital. Mrs. Westbrook was born May 5, 1905, in Kountze, Texas, to Will and Katherine Robe. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Christian Tabernacle. Mrs. Westbrook is preceded in death by her husband, Arlie R. Westbrook; a daughter, Barbara Ann Ivy; brothers, J.A. Robe, W.E. and E.C. Gibbs; sisters, Bertha Mills, Blanche Evett and Cleo Cox; and great-grandchildren, Daniel and Tiffany Ivy and Caleb Jones. She is survived by a son and spouse, Jimmy and Jane Westbrook of Diana; a daughter and spouse, Wanda and Cotton Jones of Diana; son-in-law, Merritt Ivy of Jasper; grandchildren and spouses, Mike and Jan Ivy, Regina and Danny Tullos, David and Ann Ivy, LaWana and Rick Parks, J. Don and Cindy Westbrook, Delana and David Dorgan, Richard and Shelly Westbrook, Shalain and Daniel Smith, Mitchael Jones, and Michelle and Frank Adler; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
