He is survived by a wife and six sons; Mr. Irvin White of Childress, Wesley, Ratio, Harve, Jack and Jess, all of Pritchett. Mr. White was one of the oldest and most respected citizens of the Pritchett community and one of his neighbors said he had lived close to him for a time and had never heard a man speak of him in any way except with praise. He was president of Pritchett State Bank and a prominent farmer and was greatly esteemed by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance and the news of his death will be learned with deep regret wherever he was known. His funeral took place at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and his remains were laid to rest in the Pritchett Cemetery, a large concourse of friends and relatives turning out to pay this last said tribute of respect to the memory of a good man, an honest man, a kind neighbor and a good husband and an indulgent father. Peace be to his memory.
