Whitter, Ruth Hazel Blackstone 
  	
GILMER -- Services for Ruth Hazel Blackstone Whitter, 92, of the Shady Grove 
Community, will be 3 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home 
Chapel of Gilmer, with Perry Cowen officiating. Burial will follow in Shady 
Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Whitter died October 24, 2006, in Gilmer. Born September 
2, 1914, in Upshur County, she was a seamstress for Uptown Shop in Gladewater 
and member of Shady Grove Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, 
Shirley Whitter Edmonson.
