Wright, Homer Lee

GILMER -- Services for Homer Lee Wright, 74, of Ore City, 
will be 11 a.m. today, January 1, 2007, at Mount Zion 
Baptist Church in Gilmer, with the Rev. Emmanuel Holloman 
officiating. Burial will be in Crossroad Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Turner Bros. Mortuary. Mr. Wright 
died December 28, 2006, in Kilgore. Born May 25, 1932, in 
Gilmer, he worked for Lone Star Steel and was a Baptist. 
Survivors include his wife, Ruthie Smith Wright; sons, 
Larry L., Carl, Tard, Wayne and Wally Wright; daughters, 
Barbara Wright, Patricia Wright, Pequita Holloman and 
Janett Brown; and sisters, Maggie Curry and Gereline 
Jeffrey. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. today at the funeral 
home.
