Wright, Thelma Helen 


GILMER -- Memorial services for Thelma Helen Wright, 73, of Gilmer, will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer. Mrs. Wright died Monday, September 11, 2006, in Gilmer. She was born June 25, 1933, in Terrell, Arkansas, to William Harce Hayes and Ruby L. Hayes. She married Erwin Glen Wright in 1962, and he preceded her in death in 1996. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her son, Charley Lee Rice; sisters, Famous Hayes and Eddie May Edwards; and two grandsons. She is survived by two daughters, Emily Whitworth of Lake O' the Pines, and Debra Kochin of Gilmer; son, Michael Shane Walker Wright; sisters, Lela Wetzle of Pickton, and Paulette Dean of Leesburg; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. No formal visitation is scheduled.
