SUNSET MEMORIAL PARK - UPSHUR COUNTY Obituary for Jimmy C. Watson Funeral services for Jimmy C. Watson, 79, of White Oak will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Jones officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Gilmer. He passed away, Monday, October 20, at his residence. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Watson was born April 28, 1935 in Texarkana, AR to Clyde and Gladys Watson and had been a resident of White Oak for the past 35 years. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Watson attended Texas A&M, was an avid deer hunter and a member of the NRA. He was a retired inspector/expeditor for Combustion Engineering Inc. and served in the U. S. Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Mame Ruth Fitts. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce Watson; daughter, Sherrie Watson Arwood and husband Max of Sachse, TX; son, Danny Watson and wife Rebecca of Coppell, TX; grandchildren, Christopher Castro, Michelle Moore and husband Lyndsey, Grant Watson and Trent Watson; and great grandsons, Caleb and Brayden Moore.
