Allyne Wells 
(September 11, 1927 - November 3, 2014) 

GILMER — Graveside services for Allyne Wells, 87, of Gilmer, 
will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. at 
Sunset Memorial Park with Chaplain Wayne Norvell officiating. 
Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral 
Home in Gilmer.

Born on September 11, 1927, in Upshur County, Texas, to 
William Dewey Henson and Velma Mae Satterwhite Henson, she 
entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 3, 2014. She 
was a retired quality control inspector and a Baptist.

She is survived by her son, Delbert M. Wells, Jr. and wife, 
Wendy of Dardanelle, Arkansas; two daughters, Helen Elaine 
Wells of Diana and Susan Hagler and husband, David of Sand 
Hill; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one 
brother, Neil Henson of Pittsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert 
M. Wells, Sr.; infant daughter, Patricia; infant son, William; 
and daughter, Elizabeth Wells.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, 
November 5, 2014, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
