GILMER - Services for Mattie Lou Wyatt, 84, of Gilmer, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, 
December 20, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, with the Rev. Todd 
Kaunitz officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Wyatt 
passed away Monday, December 17, 2007, in Gilmer.

She was born July 1, 1923, in Upshur County, Texas, to Luther and Ruby Hill 
Hawkins. Mrs. Wyatt was a member of Indian Rock Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her son, Benny Wyatt of Gilmer; brothers, Morris 
Hawkins of Longview, Don Hawkins of Longview and Weldon Hawkins of Talco; 
sisters, Cora Lee Evans of Longview and Detrine Clowers of Smyrna; two 
grandsons, Josh Wyatt and his wife, Angela, and Greg Wyatt; and two great-
grandchildren, Austin and Tyler Wyatt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Wyatt.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today, December 19, 2007, at the 
funeral home.
