Services for Casey Bill Wiley, 76, of Gilmer, formally of Lubbock will be held 11 a.m. Monday May 2, 2016 at McWhorter Funeral Home in Gilmer with a reception to follow at the funeral home as well. Interment will be at Morris Cemetery in Upshur County.

Casey Bill Wiley was born on September 10, 1939 in Seagraves, Texas. He spent the majority of his childhood in Lubbock and Waco, Texas. He joined the Texas National Guard in 1956 and then converted his commission to active Navy in 1958. He returned to Lubbock where he attended South Plains College and Texas Tech University. Before retiring, Casey was employed by Covenant Hospital.

Casey married Mona Watson on February 3, 1968 in Lubbock, Texas. They lived in Lubbock until moving to Gilmer, Texas in 2015. He was a member of the Pritchett Church of Christ. 

Casey passed away on April 27, 2016 in Longview, Texas after a brief illness. 

He is survived by his wife Mona, his daughter, Dawn Pace and her husband, Bruce, and his grandson, Blaine Pace, all of Gilmer, Texas. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
