Comments: Samuel P. McNair was the County Clerk of Upshur County, 1886-1890.  He and his family lived in Prittchet, Upshur County.  Sam married Sarah Maberry after Adaline, his first wife and Sarah's sister, passed
away.  The third child listed, Ida Moore, was older than Maud and Grover, born in MS,  and it is believed she was  Maud and Grover's half-sister having perhaps been born from a marriage Sam had in Mississippi prior to
coming to Texas.
