Funeral service for Mary L. Arrington, 92, of Gilmer will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gilmer with Bishop Justin Nessen and Bishop Lance Seahorn officiating. Interment will be in Enoch Cemetery in Upshur County. Mrs. Arrington passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Kennedale, Texas.

Mrs. Arrington was born February 24, 1923 in Palestine, Texas to Daniel Perry and Nancy Jane Ford Grooms. She was a housewife, had lived most of her life in Upshur County and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gilmer.

She is survived by her son, Robbie Arrington and wife, Dawn of Pritchett; daughters, Sheila Beck and husband, Joe of Fort Worth, Anita Williams and husband, James of Fort Worth, Peggy Whiteman and husband, Joe of Bayfield, Colorado and Kay Garten of Irving; daughter-in-law, Carol Arrington of Pritchett; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Arrington was preceded in death by her husband, Rozell Arrington and son, Bobby Arrington.

Pallbearers will be Shane Beck, Stormy Williams, Sheldon Williams, Jon Jones, Matthew Williams, Brian Bradshaw, Bryan Arrington, Jason Arrington, Daniel Arrington, Brett Ray, Jeremy Ray, Kyle Ray and Joshua Garten.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
