Services for Katherine Harriett Goodchild, 93, of Gladewater, Texas, will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home with David Havir and Ken Treybig officiating. Katherine passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Gladewater, Texas.

Katherine Harriett Goodchild was born to George and Rena Tice Sievers in Detroit, Michigan, on April 17, 1922. She was married to Edward Goodchild and was a member of the Church of God. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother.

She is survived by her son, Mark Goodchild and wife, Penny of Gladewater, and George Goodchild and wife, Carolyn of Michigan; daughters, Joan Elliotte and husband, Arvil, of Leander, and Cynthia Koory and husband, George of Michigan; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Goodchild was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Serving as pallbearers will be Timothy Goodchild, Carl Goodchild, Chad Goodchild, Ben Goodchild, Daniel Ulmer and Doug Funk.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home.
