GLADEWATER MEMORIAL PARK - UPSHUR COUNTY


Timothy Ray Reynolds, 50, died on Monday, October 17, 2011 at Good Shepherd Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born April 26, 1961 in Gladewater to Marvin and Shirley Reynolds. 

He grew up in the town of Gladewater and graduated from Gladewater High School in 1979. He was united in marriage to Roxanne Landry on September 8, 2001.

He was employed as a water plant operator for Gladewater for several years. He then worked for the water plant in Kilgore. His last job was as a water plant operator at Tanner Water Plant at Lake O' The Pines. 

Tim was an active member of the Longview Church of Christ. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Reynolds. 

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Reynolds, Gladewater; his brother, Tony Reynolds, Gladewater; his sister, Teresa Harris, Brownsboro; his wife, Roxanne Reynolds, Longview; two step-sons, Ralph Ritter and his wife Tiffany, Austin; Robert Ritter and his wife Stephanie, Tyler; three step-grandchildren, Emma Ritter, Austin; Bradon and Zoey Ritter, Tyler; one nephew, Wade Guthrie, Gladewater; one niece, Kaylan Harris, Brownsboro; and two great-nieces, Lexi and Natalie Guthrie, Gladewater.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. 

Funeral services will be Friday, October 21 at 1:00 at Longview Church of Christ with graveside service to follow at Gladewater Memorial Cemetery
