Doris Bennett
SNYDER (Special) Services for Doris Melba Bennett, 80, of Snyder will be at 2
p.m. Thursday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Gail
Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. She died
Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Snyder Health Care Center. She was born Sept. 20,
1919, in Gail. She married Willie Bennett on Nov. 15, 1942, in Gail. He
preceded her in death. She was a receptionist at Scurry County Senior Citizens
Center and a member of the 37th Street Church of Christ. She had been a Snyder
resident since 1976.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth of Gail; a brother, Delmo Pearce of Austin; and
four grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Borden County EMS in Gail.

Karan Key
SNYDER (Special) Services for Karan Lynn Robinson Key, 54, of Borden County will
be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with DeMarty Akins, pastor,
officiating.
Burial will be in Gail Cemetery under the direction Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral
Directors.
She died Friday, April 14, 2000, in Lubbock. She was born June 6, 1945, in
Snyder. She graduated from Texas Tech and had been a reading, math and P.E.
teacher at Borden County School. She lived in Borden County for 33 years. She
was very active in rodeo and influenced her children to also be active in rodeo.
She was a cheerleader sponsor for eight years and was an adult leader in 4H. She
was a member of First Baptist Church in Snyder. Survivors include sons, Brice
and Darby Key, both of Gail, and Grant Key of Lubbock; a daughter, Raylynn
Kirkpatrick of Post;
her parents, Raymond and Helen Robinson of Snyder; two brothers, Richard
Robinson of Hereford and Bo Robinson of Snyder; and a sister, Connie Poarch of
Georgetown; and two grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to Borden County
EMS, Gail, 79738, or Karan Key Scholarship Fund, Snyder National Bank, 1715 25th
St. Snyder, 79549.

BIG SPRING —
Rosary for Paula Esqueda Rios, 79, of Coahoma will be said at 7 p.m. today at
Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at
the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Jeremiah McCarthy
officiating. Burial will be in Borden County Cemetery in Gail under the
direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. She died Wednesday, April
25, 2001.
She was born June 7, 1921, in Dilley, and married Juan Garcia Rios. She was a
homemaker. She was Catholic. Survivors include her husband; a son,
Roby of Coahoma; a sister, Bernada Guajardo of Cotulla; and two grandchildren.
