John H Holyfield, 1840/2-1917, was the son of Henry and Martha E Holyfield.  John married Mary L White, 1851/2-1892/1900.  Their eight children were:

2. David E, born 1874/5, married Josephine "Josie" Walker
3. Ida, born 1876, may have married a Hibdon
4. Arthur, born 1876
5. Lutie, born Dec. 1880, buried in Oklahoma
6. Annie, born 1885, married John P Hibdon
7. Pauline, 1888-1973, married Charlie P Perry
8. Stanley N, 1892-1954, married Adeline Howell, daughter of A O Howell and Florence W Daniel, sister of Ola Howell Parker.
