John and Emma (Engle) Boyce

This photo is also in the Burnet County History, Vol II, on page 29, along with much of the family history in Burnet County from 1853. 

Emma Kate Engle was John Jackson Boyce's second wife, and according to the history book, they had 8 children.

The Boyce family history in the Burnet County History book was written by Mrs. Estelle Bryson.



"John Jackson Boyce and Emma Engle Boyce on their wedding day in Burnet, circa 1900.

She was 18 years younger than he.

Mr. Boyce died in 1941 at the age of 81.

Emma Boyce died in 1968 at the age of 90.

They are buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Burnet."
