Woodrow Wilson Bryan, 75, died
Sunday, December 8, 1991, at his home in Burnet,
Texas.
He was born November 29, 1916, in Manor,
Texas. Mr. Bryan, a master mason in
Colorado Lodge #96, retired from the city of
Austin Water Department in 1976, after 22
years. He and his wife, Mary, owned and
operated Tiny Tots Day Care Center until 1982,
where he was affectionately known as "Mr. Chief"
to hundred of Austin children. He and Mary
moved to Burnet in 1982, where they pursued his
love of travel and Bluegrass music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel
and Ellie Bryan; and a brother Jack.
Mr. Bryan is survived by his loving wife of 50
years, Mary; children, Pat
and husband, Lee Jackson, of
Austin, Jean and husband, Doug
Lackey, of Round Rock, Penny
and husband, Bruce Hagen, of
Austin; grandchildren, Brian, Amy and
Brett Jackson, Scott Lackey, Allison Hagen.
He is also survived by his sister, Lucille
Kirkman of Manor, Texas.
Chapel services are scheduled for 11:00
AM, Wednesday, December 11 at
Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet,
Texas. Sons-in-law and grandsons will
serve as honorary pallbearers. Graveside
services will follow at 3:00
PM at the City Cemetery in
Elgin, Texas
