Committed Sept 1, 1873; indicted Aug 8, 1874.  Clay Stinnett is about 28 years of age, agout 5 feet 4 inches high, dark complexion and hair and black eyes, weighs about 130 pounds, and has a small patch of white beard on the left jaw about the size of a half dollar; when last heard from was in the State of Alabama.  Edward Caven is about 24 yers of age, 5 feet 11 inches high, slender form, weighs about 160 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes and regular features, wears a brown moustache, and travels from Burnet County to the Rio Grande, frequently in Kimble, Mason and Gillespie counties. 

Wm. T. Caven is about 22 years of age, near 6 feet high, weighs some 200 pounds, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes, no beard, has youthful but homely features; ranges through the counties of San Saba, Mason, Gillespie, and to the Rio Grande.  Ed. Caven above mentioned is one of the men recently captured by Capt. McNelly with King Fisher on the Rio Grande.

Committed April 1, 1874; indicted Aug 8 same year; Hart is about 26 years old, dark hair and eyes, about 5 feet 10 inches high, weighs about 140 pounds; lived in Hunt county, and was under conviction for murder in Collin county, but had made his escape pending an appeal; claimed to be a nephue of Judge Hardin Hart, of Waco, Texas; when Hart left had a recent shot-gun wound through the knee-joint, and supposed to be lame.  Bud Thompson is 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, a heavy brutal countenance, light complexion, hair and eyes, heavy build, about 25 or 26 years old, and weighs some 175 pounds.
