Services for Carmen Parker, 88, of Burnet, will be held at 10:30 on Friday, May 25, at the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Burnet with Reverend Ted Hervey officiating, burial to follow in the Burnet City Cemetery.

She was born on Nov. 11, 1923 in Burnet to Samuel and Pearl Teagle McFarland and passed from this life on May 20 in Round Rock.

She will be remembered for her kindness and the many years she spent in service to this community as a receptionist at the Allen Clinic.

She is survived by her daughter Rebecka Neumann and family of Burnet and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, her husband, Robert Parker and brother, Don McFarland and sisters, Frances Webb and Helen Box.
