A.A. and Clarissa Ross

 

Anderson A. Ross was born in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, 15 May1827.

He came to Texas about 1851. He was a Confederate Soldier, serving in Co.E Hobby's 8th Infantry.

He and wife Clarissa lived in Burnet , Texas in the later years of their lives with their sons, A.A.Ross Jr. and Thomas B. Ross.
He died in 1909 and is buried at Bear Creek Cemetery, Bertram, TX.

 

Clarissa Lee Ross was born in Newton Co., MS. 17 February 1834 and came to Texas with her family about 1855.
Clarissa died 09/15/1912 and is buried at the Bennett Cemetery in Trinity County Texas.
