doing well and forming roasting ears rapidly. We were glad to
learn that his venerable father was improving in health. |

| Dr. W. L. Stewart
who has lately moved from Bertram to Florence, was in Georgetown
Saturday. He is an enthusiastic Confederate Veteran, and has
formed a Camp of 26 members at Florence. He is Assistant Adjutant
General of the Mountain Remnant Brigade, whose reunion will be held at
Marble Falls July 25, 26 and 27 and invites ex-Confederates and Grand
Army men to be present on that occasion, promising to all soldiers
