PRAIRIE LEA, Dec 27. - (AP) -
Mrs. Amelia McCutcheon, who died
here Sunday, was said to be the last
surviving great-granddaughter of 
Daniel Boone.

She was born in Missouri in 1840
and moved to Paris, then known as
"Pin Hook," five years later.

Subsequently her father moved to
the present site of Dallas and built a
cabin, but because of the danger of
Indian raids, he left his family in Pin
Hook.

In 1924, Mrs. McCutcheon, because
of ill health, declined an invitation
from the governor of Kentucky to at-
tend a reunion of Daniel Boone's de-
scendants.
