MILNER



Harrison B. Milner b. September 5, 1832 d. August 20, 1888 and buried at Union Hill Cemetery. From Tallapoosa County, Alabama. He was the brother of Nancy Milner Humphrey. His wife Elizabeth came to Texas about 1858. Elizabeth born June 8, 1833 and died August 10, 1915. Son F. Levi buried beside them was born 18/61 and died 1938. He married Donie Green and Mrs. Christian. Donie Green Milner is buried next to him. She was the a parent of Alvin Howard, Aubrey A.

Milner
Ten miles northwest of Linden. Named for William J. Milner, pioneer settler. When the town was missed by the railroad, it failed to grow and the area reverted to agriculture.
