County School News
We are glad to announce that the per capita apportionment will be $17.50. The Cigarette tax made it possible for a raise of least $1.50 per capita. I trust that the Merchants and purchaser will see the necessity of carrying out this law in full.
I want to urge that the trustees from each district call at the office and finish filling Out the contracts where the amount of salary was left out when the contract was made. Please do this when you are in Linden and if you are not in Linden, mail in the amount you want to pay your teachers.
Saturday, August 29th we will have a meeting for the trustees. I want to urge that each trustee make your plans to attend this meeting; because we will have a speaker for the occasion and he will discuss many important school problems.
