Carmel Jean "Candy" Adams

HUGHES SPRINGS - Private graveside services for Carmel Jean "Candy" Adams, 54, of Hughes Springs, will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Ms. Adams died July 10, 2010, at a local hospice after a long illness.

Born June 27, 1956, in Houston, she was a member of the Peace Corps and later a baker. Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Ann Jones; sisters, Frances Lovelady and Debbie Smith; and brothers, Leonard, David and Wendell Smith.
