LYMAN ABBOTT

LINDEN, Texas-Lyman H. Abbott, 87, of Marietta, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, in an Atlanta, Texas 
hospital.

Mr. Abbott was born Nov. 16, 1917, in Westfield, Mass. He was a truck driver and a Christian. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris E. Lowell Abbott, in 1997; and one daughter, Janet M. Bracia.

Survivors include four sons, L. John Abbott of Douglassville, Texas, James H. Abbott of Marietta, Richard T. 
Abbott of Naples, Texas, and Michael P. Abbott of Grand Saline, Texas; four daughters, Cheryle L. Patruski 
of Belchertown, Mass., Linda S. Childs of Bronxville, N.Y., Carol J. Gutthrie of Pawcatuck, Conn., and 
Kathleen D. Crider of Brandford, R.I.; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; 
and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home with Ron Elkins 
officiating.

Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, Dallas.
