R.E. ALLISON SR.

LINDEN, Texas-R.E. "Al" Allison Sr., 67, of Douglassville, Texas, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, 
in a New Boston, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Allison was born Sept. 7, 1936, in Linden. He was an air traffic controller and a member of 
Piney Grove Baptist Church, Linden.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Ann Allison of Douglassville; three sons and two daughters-in-law, 
Royce Jr. and Laura Allison of Douglassville, Jeffery Warren and Kathy Allison of Springfield, Ohio, 
and Wayne Royce Allison of San Antonio; one daughter, Clarissa Maquez of Douglasville; his mother, 
Ora Allison of Linden; one brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Lee Allison of Gary, Texas; and a 
number of grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. today at Center Cemetery with Wayne Royce Allison officiating. 
Burial will be under direction of Reeder-David-Schindler Funeral Home.
