HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Doris Boyd, 54, of Marietta, Texas, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, 
in a Longview, Texas, hospital.

Mrs. Boyd was born Dec. 1, 1949, in Marietta, Texas. She was a retired forklift operatpr and a 
member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Nikki Boyd of Marietta; one son, Corey Boyd of Crockett, Texas; 
six sisters, the Rev. Q.T. Williams of Omaha, Texas, Dorthy King and Linda Neal of Marietta, 
Glinda Morrow of Lone Star, Texas, Sherita King of Naples, Texas, and Teletha Spelling of Linden, 
Texas; two brothers, Billy King of Marietta and Gerald King of Daingerfield, Texas; five 
grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Gum Springs CME Church, Douglasville, Texas, with the Rev. 
Q.T. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Gum Springs Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis 
Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
