NORMA CHAVEY

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Norma Faye Hall Chavey, 76, of Hughes Springs died Wednesday, 
Oct. 1, 2003, in Longview, Texas.

Mrs. Chavey was born Jan. 5, 1927, in Hughes Springs. She was a homemaker, a Methodist 
and a member of the Longview Kennel Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred 
Chavey; and one son, Rick Chavey.

Survivors include six daughters, Bettye Nothmann of Boston, Donna Curtis of San Antonio, 
Cheryl Cates of Weatherford, Texas, Alicia Chavey of Dallas, Carla Wallace of Daingerfield, 
Texas, and Jama Wallace of Hughes Springs; one sister, Olyn Black of Duncanville, Texas; 
10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bluford 
Weikel officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
