John M. Floyd 

DAINGERFIELD - Services for John M. Floyd, 75, of Daingerfield will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at the 
First Baptist Church in Daingerfield with the Rev. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery 
in Marietta under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Mr. Floyd died Sunday, June 6, 2004, in 
Daingerfield. 

Mr. Floyd was born Dec. 5, 1928, in Marietta. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Daingerfield. Mr. 
Floyd was a member of the Oasis Masonic Lodge No. 79, the Eastern Star Chapter No. 906 and a member of 
the Sevier County Trail Riders. He retired from SWEPCO. One sister, Grace Jones and one brother, Melvin 
Floyd, preceded Mr. Floyd in death. 

Survivors include his wife, Joanne Floyd of Daingerfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Jan Floyd of 
Daingerfield and Robert "Bubba" and Cindy Floyd of Longview; three stepsons, Doug Reeder and his wife, Angie, 
of Houston, Dwayne Reeder and Darren Reeder and his wife, Shelly, all of Fort Worth; one sister, Lusta Bell Morris 
of Daingerfield; three brothers, Hugh Floyd and Garland Floyd, both of Daingerfield and Adrian Floyd of Marietta; 
two grandchildren, Cresta LeFevre and Kevin Floyd; five step-grandchildren, Zane, Noah, Ashton, Annie and Tony 
Reeder.
