Verner Paul Hamilton

LINDEN - Funeral services for Verner Paul Hamilton, 83, of Jefferson, will be 10 a.m., Friday, May 28, 2010, at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden, with  Bro. Geno Muns officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery. Mr. Hamilton died May 25, 2010, in a Jefferson nursing center.

Mr. Hamilton was born in Linden, on January 11, 1927. He was a firefighter, a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of Jefferson Masonic Lodge #38, and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Edna; sons, Paul W. Hamilton and Dennis Hamilton; daughter, Alicia Ann Fallis; brothers, Gerald Taylor Hamilton and Kenneth "Red" Hamilton. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today, May 27, 2010, at the funeral home.
