IDA HAMPTON 

NAPLES, Texas-Ida Mae Hampton, 93, of Naples died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, in Bertram, Texas. 

Mrs. Hampton was born Dec. 15, 1909, in Naples. She was a businesswoman, a member of Naples 
Methodist Church and a charter member of Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by 
her husband, Morris Hampton. 

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jack and Helen Hampton of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, 
and Dan Hampton of Mount Pleasant, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Ouida and Larry Anderson of 
Horseshoe Bay; one nephew, Bob Whatley; one brother-in-law, Morgan Hampton; two sisters-in-law, Hope 
King and Patricia Chamblis; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. 

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Naples Methodist Church with the Rev. Tim Edwards officiating. Burial 
will be in Cornett Cemetery under direction of Alexander Funeral Home. 

Visitation will be 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
