ERBYE HARROD

LINDEN, Texas-Erbye Lee Harrod, 92, of Mount Vernon, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, 
in a Mount Vernon hospital.

Mrs. Harrod was born Jan. 30, 1912, in Linden. She was a homemaker and a member of Glade 
Springs Baptist Church, Mount Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Harrod; 
one son, Roland Harrod; and one granddaughter, Carlene Osmund.

Survivors include two sons and three daughters-in-law; Charles and Frances Harrod of Midlothina, 
Texas, Gene and Edna Harrod of Mount Vernon, and Jackie Harrod of Linden, Texas; eight 
grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. today at New Colony Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Swain officiating. 
Burial will be in New Colony Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis_Schindler Funeral Home.
