SAMUEL HICKS

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Samuel Hicks, 67, of Lake O' the Pines died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at his home.

Mr. Hicks was born Sept. 30, 1937, in Marion County, Texas. He was a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church 
and an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Hicks of Lake O' the Pines; four children, Tony Hicks and Stevie Hicks of 
Dallas, Janice Hicks of Mims, Texas, and Teresa Hicks of Kilgore, Texas; one sister, Bertha Williams of Champaign, 
Ill.; one brother, Moses Hicks of Dallas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Moore 
officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pilgrim Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
