Earline Hill 

HUGHES SPRINGS — Services for Earline Hill, 83, of Hughes Springs will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, 
at Hughes Springs Church of Christ with Gary Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park 
in Hughes Springs under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Mrs. Hill died Tuesday, July 20, 2004, 
at her residence. 

Mrs. Hill was born Dec. 10, 1920, in Gadsden, Ala., to James and Myrtie Gullion, who preceded her in death. 
She married Claude Hill on July 6, 1940, in Anniston, Ala. Mrs. Hill had lived in Hughes Springs since 1953 and 
was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jan Grimmett; and 
one grandson, Matt Grimmett. 

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Claude Hill of Hughes Springs; two daughters and one son-in-law, 
Della Ann and Larry McBride of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Penny Hollis of Hughes Springs; two sisters, Willene 
Marsh of Arab, Ala., and Faye Fant of Hanceville, Ala.; five grandchildren, Jerri DeAndra Pendarvis, Robin 
Vaughn, Jeffery Vaughn, Joshua Hollis and Blake Hollis; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; 
and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation is 7-9 p.m. today, July 22, at the funeral home.
