MAURINE KENNON

LINDEN, Texas-Maurine Glover Kennon, 76, of Linden died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, at her home.

Mrs. Kennon was born Feb. 20, 1927, in Cave Springs, Texas. She was retired from Lincoln Big 3, 
Baton Rouge, La., and a Baptist. One son, Bill Proctor Nelson Jr, preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Malcolm Murray of Linden; one brother, 
Jim "Buddy" Glover of Staten Island, N.Y.; two sisters, Billy Hodges of Amarillo, Texas, and Becky 
Jones of Atlanta, Ga.; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Craig and Kelley Fant of Linden; 
two great-grandsons, Cade Fant and Clay Fant of Linden; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Hughes Springs Cemetery, Hughes Springs, Texas, 
with Ron Haaland officiating. Burial will be under direction of Haaland Family Funeral Home.
