VIRGINIA MITCHAM

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas-Virginia Lee Mitcham, 85, of Lone Star, Texas, died Thursday, 
Dec. 25, 2003, at her home.

Mrs. Mitcham was born June 10, 1918, in Norman, Okla. She was a schoolteacher, a member 
of Eastern Star, a Baptist and a World War II Navy veteran.

Survivors include her husband, John Mitcham of Lone Star; three sons and daughters-in-law, 
the Rev. John Barton and Dianne Mitcham and Timothy Ross and Carla Mitcham of Carterville, 
Ga., and Richard Lee and Sharon Mitcham of Arlington, Texas; four grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today in Woodlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. John B. 
Mitcham officiating. Burial is under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
